Been using Mozilla Firefox with no problem on laptop wirelessly with XP. Now click on Firefox icon (and from Program menu)and nothing happens. Tried to reinstall Firefox from Geeks website through Internet Explorer. When reinstalling it says I must close version of Firefox before installing. Check processes and applications with CTRL ALT DEL and it does not show Firefox running. Any ideas for this?

First try removing using Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel. If that doesn't work try using "Uninstalling Firefox" on the above web page. See steps 2, 3, and 4, if you can't delete something start in safe mode by tapping F8 key while the computer is booting and select safe mode to delete. Step 5 is for editing the registry and you need to be careful there, especially if you have other Mozilla programs installed. You will lose any stored Firefox information such as bookmarks and personal settings if you use this method (steps 2-4). rolleyes
If that doesn't work hang in there for the Firefox aficionado's...
