Mozilla Firefox very slow

    My P-4 system with 2GB of RAM open firefox very slowly, when i click on Internet Explorer or Google Chrome they open with 3-4 seconds but Firefox takes atleast20-30 Mins to open, i have pentium 4 computer with 2GB of RAM but still its very slow in opening, i dont think its system problem, even cleaning temp files etc doesnt speed it up.

    try uninstalling firefox...you might try pale moon...it is firefox based and fast...download the latest version of firefox and reinstall it..

    Hi

    Uninstall Firefox and run CCleaner to clean up temps and registry entries (run the registry one until nothing lists to be removed) then re-install the latest version of Firefox HERE

    Do you have alot of addons installed for Firefox? if so then run Firefox in its Safe Mode, found in the Start menu folder for Firefox and see if it opens quicker, if it does then you will have to disable all addons from the addons manager then enable one at a time and close and re-open Firefox to test and find the culprit.

    Hi

    Did you uninstall and cleanup then re-install then try the other advice in Firefox's Safe Mode and disabling addons and plugins to test if one of them is cauing the issue?
