mozilla internet browser

can i delete internet explorer 7 and install mozilla internet browser without causing any problems to my pc..advice please..

 

IE 7 is an integral part of Windows so I would not recommend deleting it. Just install Mozilla Firefox and when you first run it you will be asked if you wish to make it your default browser, just answer yes and that is it!

I would also recommend that you also install Mozbackup and run this program every week as it will save all your bookmarks and settings.

 

You do not need to remove it in order to use an alternate browser. Internet Explorer is tied into the Windows operating system and is used for some important functions such as Windows Update. This makes it extremely difficult and problematic to remove. Also, some sites still open only in Internet Explorer.
