My last computer, a leftover from the dinosaur age, headed south
I want to reload my Thunderbird mail account onto this computer, however I do not recall PW, and any attempts to get cust spt listed on Google get me 3d party's who of course want to "repair" bugs, worms, malware, etc for a fee; and a pretty stiff one at that.
How do I reload my old T'bird account onto this system?
    Thanks

As usual, Skysarge, they're going to need more info like make/model of pc. I see you're running XP pro but it show as a "bootleg" copy? Run Speccy Portable and take a look at the Serial Number line in the generated report. You may need to contact Microsoft to get a valid product key if, in fact, your current Windows installation is bogus.

I believe Thunderbird stores the password locally and someone that uses TBird can help you with that.

From what I can see in the Belarc Advisor report you posted, Adobe Reader needs a serious update to version 11.0.3. It's currently at version 8.

The two missing "Q" updates may be for MS Office and not Windows. You can go to Microsoft Update in Internet Explorer 8 (which you're running according to Belarc). — Add the page to your Favorites in IE 8 so you can go back to it later. — It will install an Active X control first. So, make sure you allow it to.

Once you've installed the Active X control, you should be presented with a screen like the one shown in the attached JPEG image. If, instead, it says that additional software needs to be installed first, allow the installation. You can then either select Express or Custom and your computer will be scanned for missing updates. You can then download and install the updates from the Microsoft site.

A restart of your computer may be necessary. After the restart, you can go back to the site in IE 8 if you need any more High Priority updates or want any Optional updates.

Be advised that Belarc Advisor like Speccy publishes the Product Keys in it's report. In the future, you may wish to remove them before publishing the report publicly to prevent an unscrupulous person from using them.

    Ordered an XP Pro disc.
When that arrives, will take out Win 8, load XP
Shop that sold me current Comp loaned me an unlabeled boot disc. Loaded it before realizing it was a Win 8.
Old XP program on current computer will not make it through MS checks. Believe shop copied it off another computer
This ongoing myriad of problems is in it's 6th week, and I still have glitches even with a refurbished computer.
Will log back in when loading new XP disc Will also start updating other programs and add on's
    In interim, thanks for assistance

I woudn't go back to that shop.

Also, be advised that Microsoft support for Windows XP will end April 8, 2014.

Well, if I take into consideration the assistance MS has given me with XP over the years, likely I will not miss a whole lot. Could not get much more than "Sorry Charlie" when my original disc was damaged
And agree with your thoughts on the shop
