Hi there, just bought a new MP3 player which is good and wanna get my MP3 in as good as shape as possible. I have just volume adjusted them to remove the clipping and was now wondering if it is worth converting them all to 192 kbps. If so, does anyone know a good pice of software for doing this. Cheers, Sam.

Depends if they are currently higher or lower bitrates than 192 Kbps. If they are lower, there is no point in converting them, as you cannot get extra quality out of nowhere.

OTOH, you can potentially save space by lowering their bitrates. To do that, you may want to investiagate Audacity, which should do the trick for you.
