mp3 player

    Hi all
    i have recently tried to rip music directly from a music cd then copy it to an mp3 player. But when i come to play it on the mp3 it doesnt play. I have heard this is due to cd protection from copying music from a cd. I have ripped music from cd's before and it allows me to do it , is it a ew thing or an easy mistake i am making?

    It could be a new copy protection scheme, Before you give up on on ripping cd's you might want to try this freeware cd ripper http://www.mgshareware.com/frmmain.shtml I've had no problems at all with it.
