Mp3 Song buffer

    This is not a problem i was just wondering if it is possible
    Hey i have an mp3 player(iriver) and i often use it to play music over my computer speakers. When i am playing it and i pull out the usb cable the music keeps playing for upto 5seconds. I was wondering if it was possible to increase this 5sec buffer to more than 5 seconds to something that could play the whole song.
