MP3 to CD

I am getting better but still need some assistance. Can I record from MP3 to a format that can be played on all my CD players. I have a Creative Zen VisionM. If so what is that format and how do I do it. Appreciate any assistance.

hi, your windows media player should do it for you, just open your player and follow the instructions

 

Yes, the normal cd audio track format. You see them as .cda files if you explore the content of a normal audio cd.
All programs that burn CDs that I know of are able to burn audio tracks.
I personally use Nero, but like hawklord said, the latest versions of windows media player can do it, and winamp too.

 

I came to the conclusion that this was the way to do it i.e., cda extention. I am using a Creative zen Vision M and I cannot get the extention to work. The problem I am having is sometimes when I burn from the mp3 player the cd will play on all my players and other times it will only play on a couple and then other times it will only play on my DVD player. I follow the same steps everytime and get different results each time. I have gone through a case of cd-r with only a handful playing on all my players. I wish I could get this down pat.

 

i gather you are on xp, try transfering the files to your pc then open your wmp and select media library then add, once you have added your files select 'copy to cd or device' and it should do it for you auto,
i only have wmp9 but i think its the same for later ones,
by the way wmp will also tell you how much will fit on a cd,

The one program that was recommended to me that i too recommend is CDBurnerXP Pro.

 

I would like to thank everyone for their suggestions. I am going to keep trying because having the cds that I can take along with me is very helpful. Hopefully, I will be able to conquer this.
