mp3s Acting like scratched cds

Hey guys, perhaps you have encountered this problem also: Sometimes, when using my computer, if I am playing musik; when a process starts up, or something, even as low as 1% CPU usage, my musik will tend to skip such as a scratched disc. I have NO idea why this occurs, but I would like to solve this problem, because it is truly annoying, for my ears and because I know something is wrong with my computer. Thanks in advance, guys/ girls.

 

How much memory do you have?

 

I have 1 gig, DDR HyperX

 

Have you checked to see how much memory is being used and by what? Tapping out the RAM will slow you down just like tapping out the CPU will.
