mp4 TO DVD

I am looking for a reasonably simple to use application that will convert mp4 so that I can burn it to DVD and use it on a normal dvd player. Any suggestions? The media file size is 3.64 gigs if that matters. I have used a half dozen converters n the past with varying results, most of them bad.

 

Which ones, to avoid anyone suggesting one of them. Also, what codecs?

Ok guys thanks. I'm pretty decent with computers but for some reason media converters always seem to fail on my even when I follow the instructions EXACTLY. Last night I tried WinX DVD Author Solid MP4 to DVD converter. And they both failed.
I have used DVDflick successfully in the past so I'll try that again, and if it doesnt work ive give DvdVideosoft. Thanks!

 

DVDFlick took 3 hours and created two empty folders. Guess Ill try DVDVideosoft.

 

dvdVideosoft did a fine job in quick order (nicely optimized for quadcores) And looks and plays awesome with VLC or WMP, but when I put it in a DVD player, it gave me an error the details of which slip my mind at the moment. What am i doing wrong?

 

Your mp4 may have 10 bit encoding instead of the common 8 bit encoding. If the software you are using can't handle 10 bit encoded mp4s, you'll have problems.

*Don't ask for details but it allows for a smaller file without a corresponding loss of quality compared to 8 bit encoding.
