"The MPAA has successfully shut down an entire town's municipal WiFi because a single user was found to be downloading a copyrighted movie. Rather than being embarrassed by this gross example of collective punishment (a practice outlawed in the Geneva conventions) against Coshocton, OH, the MPAA's spokeslizard took the opportunity to cry poor (even though the studios are bringing in record box-office and aftermarket receipts)."

Isn't the MPAA the same company I complained was trying to turn off our analog inputs on our TVs. This is a very embarrassing (and funny) error on their part. Doesn't inspire much trust in me to let them control my TV.

Isn't the MPAA the group that was formed by Thomas Edison who bullied the founders of movie projection devices into giving up, and even made some people "disappear"? I thought they were declared an illegal cartel and forced to disband?
