My DVD player states it will play MPEG-4 from a flash drive. I cannot find a free video converter that will make an MPEG-4 file. I tried 'Any Video Converter' first but whatever I produce, the DVD player doesn't recognise it! Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure most DVD players that say Mpeg4 mean XviD or Divx encoded AVI files. What type of files are you starting from?

Do you have a model number from the DVD player so we can look at the manual to see if there is anything special you have to do when you put them on the flash drive.

Thanks People. Yes it does play avi files! Why can't they use terms us techno-infants understand?
