    Hi i have a problem when i capture a mpeg file i cannot play it
    i get an error that say's explorere has encountered a problem
    i cannot rename or delete this file this file will play on my other pc
    okay>>> i have ran virus scans etc. i am using xp with sp2

    The Unlocker http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4660 will allow you to rename or delete the file.

    Install the program and if presented with an option to allow commands to be added to the context menu say ok. Then just right click on the file and choose unlocker. Then unlock all. The file should be deletable.

    You could also try a different media player like VLC from videolan.org if it can play the file it may just be a problem with Windows Media Player.
