alright well im not sure if this goes here.. so... w/e

I download a 43,000KB file and when i go on winamp it says it 8minutes long but it only plays for 19seconds and then freezes so i slide it back to the middle which is 10seconds point and it a part i dint see the first time..

So i tryed it on windows media player and it does the exact same thing .. play 19 seconds and stop but when i put it back it plays a part i dint see the first time.

Why is it doing this???? why can i just see the 8:00 minutes of the video??

 

You're right. The file is corrupt. That is why it hangs at the same spot. You need to download the file again. If it was a codec problem, it would play wouldn't work correctly for the first nine seconds (ie no video or audio).

 

ok i re downloaded it and it worked... guess it had something corrupt it in.
