mporder

This is a question about what this is and where could it have come from.My Sister had an icon appear on her desktop titled mporder.When she tried to open Word she would be told her resources were to low. She did find a way around this, but it was a hassle. finally she right clicked the icon and ended up opening the program in word pad thus clearing up her problem.
My questions are:Where did this thing come from? What is its purpose? Could it harm her computer? I know this is stupid, but it just got my courious up.
