MS Access and Workgroup Information File security

Hi

I am using Access 97 and have implemented user-level security for my network which is stored in a shared Workgroup Information File that I have created. All staff are members of this workgroup information file. When staff login to the database they login under their own name with a password. They cannot view or change any of the form design. I can only do that by logging in as Admin user with my own password.

However I have found there is a way for staff to potentially login as Admin too with the threat of viewing and modifying form design and vb code. The way for them to do this would be to simply re-join the default workgroup information file located on their C:drive in the WINNT folder. They they automatically have 'default' admin rights when they login, without the need to enter any password.

I have looked through all the help pages in Access but there seems to be no preventative measure to stop staff joining an alternative workgroup. Please can anyone provide a possible solution to this problem?

Ps. I gave my shared Workgroup Information File a Unique "WID" (id code) however this didn't make any difference and didn't prevent me being able to join the default workgroup information file.
