MS Broadband XP Compatibiltity ?

I keep getting the message that MS Broadband Utility has "known compatibility" issues with this version of XP. I went to the page that supposedly helps with this - but no luck.

I have the computers in the sytem tray that display red but my connection is fine.

What do I need to do to fix this?

I follow the instuctions to check for updates - a small update window appears, and then nothing happens.

I am using XP SP2 and a MS Network card.

Very confusing situation. I rebooted the machine, got the message, but the Network icon is not in the systray anymore.

Any other ideas?
