Ms Edge And Google Calendar

Not at all a fan of the latest Google Calendar but need to know whether a problem I'm having is with the new Calendar or with Edge. Problem is I cannot edit a calendar event - the calendar tab simply closes if I try to. Can't test this on my laptop because I've had to revert it to 8.1 as a few too many problems with 10. This was to be expected as the laptop isn't supported for 10 by Lenovo, though it hasn't had too many issues until quite recently.

It's interesting that the only Win 10 features I'm really missing after reverting to 8.1 are Edge and Mail. Thunderbird feels far too heavyweight after using Mail for so long. Going back to Firefox hasn't been an issue though I find Edge a lot nicer to use.

Why don't you just use a free Personal Information Manager that includes an email client, calendar, contacts, notes, tasks, etc.?
EssentialPIM Free even allows you to synchronize to your Android phone (or iPhone).

Why have yet another app when 10 on its own provides absolutely everything I need under every one of those headings? In the case of Mail it has actually come up with the best email solution for me I've ever used. There's also the small matter of donkey's years of continuous history working this way. No thanks Eldon.
