MS Java delete

Hello to all the Major and Minor geeks,
At Christmas I replaced a Compaq bundled package with a clean install of Win XP Pro SP2 and discovered I had a heap of problems. By following the questions and answers in the forums I have been able to resolve all of my problems. I am grateful for the MajorGeeks forums, it is awesome.http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
I read the advice by the knowledgeable chaslang (many thanks, to you!) on malware and tried to delete ms java: I cut and pasted the command string "RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection java.inf,UnInstall" in Run and got "cannot find java.inf". also tried it with C:\ plus string with same result. I noticed that some members have got to step 5, so I guess the problem is peculiar to my situation. I would welcome any suggestions. Many thanks.

With a clean install of XP SP2 MS Java VM should not be installed on your PC, see if the other files and folders mentioned are even on your PC.
c:\windows\inf\java.pnf
c:\windows\java
c:\windows\system32\wjview.exe
c:\windows\system32\jview.exe
or the registry settings for Microsoft's Java VM

Bug, am I glad for your post! - From my reading of "Malware Advice" by "chaslang" I assumed that MS Java was part of Win XP SP2, thank you for the correction!
I searched the system as you suggested and only found "javavm.uno.dll" in the "Open Office" folder.
