ok, this might sound like a real lame question, but I'm about to throw the moniter through the window, so please, someone save my poor moniter. I have MS Money 2006. Once I set up the budget how do I enter an expense or transaction when it happens. Say I budget myself $400 a month on groceries, well, I don't buy them all at once, more like many times throughout the month. So say I spend $50 on groceries tomorrow. The only place I can find to enter it in is in the paying bills section. When I try to enter it in, it wants to only enter it as a recurring transaction, in other words, it wants to consider it a scheduled bill to be paid on that date every month. I want to enter it in as just $50 going towards my budgeted $400 a month in groceries. Does anyone deal with MS Money, and how do you deal with it. I looked in the help files, no dice. I tried to watch the video but all I could watch was a little red x in the upper left hand corner wich got kinda boring after while. Help please.

If you are getting the little red x, then your Internet Explorer settings are set way too tight, or you have other issues with Windows Media Player that is causing it. As for inputing expenses, you have to change the type of transaction when inputing it.

Start from this chapter http://www.microsoft.com/money/support/manual/money05/ch6p1.asp and it will tell you what to do.
