I have a new OEM copy of office pro 2003. I am on windows xp home. When I try to install office I receive error message that "setup exe. is not a valid win32" . Can xp home handle office 2003 or do I need a newer operating system? Is the copy of the program machine spacific; only for a HP not a Dell or something of that sort? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks , Pat

Thank you for the help. I bought this on e-bay about a week ago. It was brand new and unopened, probably from a IT administrator. Should this make any difference to Microsoft?I also just reinstalled windows on my computer and did a complete reinstall back to when it was new without all the junk programs. Would this make any difference?

    Again Thank You

    Pat
