MS Office 2007 cannot be activated

I recently bought a copy of MS Office Pro 2007 and discovered it cannot be activated because it is a MSDN (Microsoft Developer Network) version. I learnt this after a phone call to technical support to Microsoft.

Any ideas if there is a ‘get around’ this so I can use it? Otherwise it’s basically cash down the drain!

If you bought it from Microsoft or you have an MSDN subscription, then you should have no troubles using it.

If the above does not apply, you should return it from where you bought it.

 

is there a way to find your conformation code? microsoft word was installed on my comp, then abpout 2 weeks ago it said it want (and i really need it) so i was screwing around with it and i got to an activation wizard, and it says a i need a conformation code, so can i find it somewhere on my comp or do i have to call the # and try again, to get the them to recognize im saying "office 2007" for ten minutes?
