MS Office Fix Needed

Office 2000 SR1A Reinstall.
I need to repair office 2000 SR1a but the MSI file which installed the SR1 patch was deleted. I need to reinstall the patch but on every occasion I try the program tells me that SR1 is already installed. I also cannot uninstall because the MSI is gone. Short of manually killing all the Office files plus digging all refs out of registry and reinstalling then upgrading with the patch is there a way to force reinstallation of the patch and thereby reinstall the MSI. A pretty comprehensive search of MS failed to help solve the problem.
I thought perhaps some sort of command to add to the SR1 patch to force it to reinstall and thereby get the msi back. Any ideas please???

dunno about forcing it to install the MSI but you do know Office 2000's upto SP3 now so I wonder if installing SP3 will both update you and replace the MSI?
