   If I go to tasks and I click to add a task. I get "Operation cannot complete, one or more parameter values are incorrect"
   I tried office help online and the clip.

   Which version of Office?
   
   and if XP or 2003 have you tried to fix it by using under Help menu > Detect and Repair?
   
   Is it fully upto date with any service pack and updates to applications?
