Trying to setup a new e-mail account in Outlook 2007, keep getting this error. Have no more ideas, tried uninstalling and reinstalling but didn't work.

Apparently it's still trying to open the old e-mail folders which I can't get it to get past.

    Any ideas?

Would it be possible to run scanpst.exe on it and see if the pst file is there, but corrupted?

Otherwise, I'd say delete the profile that is currently in use (or the default) in Control Panel > Mail > Profiles.

You may want to make sure there is a backup of the profile and pst, if possible, but I don't have Outlook installed here, and don't know if you can export profiles from that box.

And yet again something simple flew right over my head, today has been one of those days where everything went wrong.

I forgot about going into it that route. I just deleted the whole profile and started over. :tired
    Thanks man!
