I have outlook 2000 at my new job. For some reason it wont let me auto save an email address if I recieve an email from a new sender and/or if I type in a new email, it will not save it in my address book either.

also, at my last job if I began typing an email address all the email addresses w/ the same spelling would pop up (so I dont have to remember the entire email). this option doesnt seem to be working either.

    any suggestions on how to
    1) have all email addresses (that I recevie or send) automatically be saved in my address book
    2) have all email addresses pop up when I begin to type in an email

thanks - any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Did you set the options under tools/send to do this? If you didn't, then try that.

I tried on firefox and got this back"Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at support.microsoft.com.

    * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
    moments.

    * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
    connection.

    * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web."

I got something similar from IE- I can get into microsoft, just not the support link. hmmmm maybe this has something to do why outlook isnt working?

    thanks

I reached the originally posted links without problem.

Could there have been restrictions put on certain Outlook (or Office) parameters by the Administrator at your workplace? That's actually the first place you should enquire regarding workplace applications.

Yes, I'd check with your local IT goons, at your workplace. :)
