Read other posts using the frst64.exe tool but I don't know how to use the information contained in the log to create the fixlist.txt file.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to Major Geeks, jlund311!

Please read: How to attach as we do not allow inline logs here.

NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system

    Attached is fixlist.txt
    • Save fixlist.txt to your flash drive.
    • You should now have both fixlist.txt and FRST64.exe on your flash drive.

    Now re-enter System Recovery Options.
Run FRST64 and press the Fix button just once and wait.
The tool will make a log on the flashdrive (Fixlog.txt).
Please attach this to your next message. (How to attach)

    Now attempt to boot normally.

If you need additional help afterwards, read and complete everything listed in this thread: How to Remove Trojan:DOS/Alureon.A

Thanks for the response. Used supplied fixlist but windows still blue screens right as the OS loads. Unfortunately, it blinks so quick, I can't see the nature of the error.

Attached is a copy of the fixlog.

    Any other ideas?

I'd like you to boot into System Recovery Options again, this time select Startup Repair instead of Command Prompt.

If Windows detects errors and needs reboot for the changes to occur, allow it to reboot and test if Windows will boot properly.

Sometimes you have to do this twice, so... if the PC still does not boot after the initial Startup Repair - I want you try Startup Repair for a second time.

If the PC still fails to boot, obtain a NEW FRST.txt for me please.

Thank you for your time. This machine is hosed on so many levels. Even if I did get it to boot, I am not confident about it's operation for the long term.
This Alureon is one serious piece of work. Already lost several hours of my life I will not get back. I am going to just dump all patrtitions and reinstall.

You have helped alot of people. We all appreciate your time. Keep up the good fight!
