Ms Word and double sided printing

Prob really easy but I havent a clue

I need to able able to figure out how to get word to print on both sides of paper. I have a printer that will do it. I just cant figure out how to set it up in word, I need one thing on one sid and something different on the other. So they match but reverse if ya know what I mean ?

Any thoughts?

 

I have Word2000 and it's in the Advanced Print Options section. File > Print then choose either the Options button (lower left in Word2000) or select Properties (up by the printer name, top right in Word2000) then choose the Advanced options and it should be in there somewhere....

 

Looking here at Word 2003, I see that I can elect to print only odd# pages or only even# pages. So, if I wanted to print on both sides of paper, I could print all odd# pages, put the paper back in the printer for printing on the other side, then print the even# pages. I would run a test with a small number of pages to verify whether pages need to be sorted in reverse sequence before starting the second phase of printing.

 

You need to manually set your printer properties to automatic duplex print.

open your printer properties print dialog box and select the duplex print option, by default the printer installs for single page printing.

Once set Word should print duplex without additional prompting in the Word print dialog box.

 

Apparently, you're assuming his printer is capable of duplex print. I believe my Canon BJC-3000, a fairly old printer, does not have that capability.
