MS Word File Error

My word file is not opening and showing error. I use online tool to repair it but this is giving me pathetic response. I clicked on secure upload and repair button then it is not uploading my file completely. I am fed up with is mess. Please help me!

 

What error are you getting when trying to open the file?

 

Error message is: Word is unable to read this document, It may be corrupt.

I am using MS Office 2007

 

Looks like most of us are in the same situation as you - having to Google for answers to this. Googling repair corrupt word files gets loads of hits, including -

you can try to insert the corrupt document into another Word doc. To do this, open a new file and then click on the Insert tab. Click on Object and then click on Object again from the dropdown. Click on the Create from File tab and then click the Browse button.

BTW you still failed to tell us which version of Windows you are using.

I am using windows 7. I tried so many options but did not get success. Finally my senior suggest me cheap word repair tool so I bought it. It repaired my file successfully.
