MS Word Template Help_Click to Add...

    Hi, Thanks for looking.

    I'm in need of a little help with Microsoft Word 2003. I am trying to make a template for my Dad's invoices. The one thing i can't figure out is how to make a template that will have....

    eg. [CLICK HERE TO ADD ADDRESS] or [CLICK HERE TO ADD NAME]

    How do i make that?

    Hi

    The options to enter Field Codes are to click on the Word menu, Insert > Field then under Choose a Field scroll down and find MacroButton and choose that, then In Display Text type what you need to call the Field, and scroll down under Macro Name to DeleteAllCommentsShown ( as this will remove the Fields text so you overtype ) then click OK.


    Or you can edit these ones of mine in below attached Doc into your Word doc, if the field codes show, just right click and choose Toggle Field Codes and they will disapear.

    No probs sach2, glad they helped, luckily I have to produce alot of docs for work and as placeholders the Fields options are perfect.

    as mentioned the template site at MS is very good for docs you could tailor for yourself.
