    How do I get the tool back at the top of MS Word that enables you to drag and move margins over? I used to have a thing at the top that marked off margin locations and I could go up there and drag a line margin over.

    View Toolbars

    check the ones you want

    or use Customize to put specific icons where you want them

    View > tick Ruler ( works in Word 2003 )

    and make sure your not in Outline View as the rulers dont show in that mode.

    I have Word 2000. Explored the View and options and just can't find the ruler. I know I've had it before.
