Msconfig help plz

    Hi guys/gals. Long time since i posted here but have been keeping a eye out :) Just wondering if any1 could help me with a few things in msconfig

    Ok on the services part i have hidden all microsoft services and was looking at what i can get rid of from the rest so far i have decided:

    LexBce server (My printer i think)
    MSCSPTISRV (Sony i think)
    Office source engine
    PACSPTISVR (Sony again i think)
    Sandra data service
    Sandra service
    Sony SPTI service
    SonicStage SCSI service

    Thats about most of them is it safe to disable them?

    LexBce.exe is indeed your printer if its a Lexmark ( or branded DELL as Lexmark did make some Dell printers ) ~ from what I read of that service its needed if you want to use your printer!

    Office source engine ~ I have set that one to manual, so if its needed ( not looked into it much but set @ manual it doesnt start anyho )

    Sandra Data Service & Sandra Service ~ Both part of Sisoft SANDRA, I dont use this app as I prefer Everest , but again you could set them to Manual.

    PACSPTISVR (Sony again i think)
    Sony SPTI service
    SonicStage SCSI service

    Dont know enough about if those Sony services are needed to keep your laptop alive!

    Thanks Halo, i just set them for manual lol the whole lot :) Its not a sony laptop its just for my Net walkman mp3 thingy ( The 1 i had loads of probs and come to here for help for)

    Was just looking through and seeing what this n that was lol i put sisoft on for no reason apart from show some1 what it does i will also be using Everest as soon as i install it

    Alot of nice apps on this site i like it :)
