I have been on selective startup for along time and all is working very well, the question is? Is it safe to suitch back to normal with out creating any problems.

@Goldenskull HUH? If using a selective startup cured earlier problems, HTH is re-enabling them gonna be safe ... ?

@ the OP, if you tell us what the de-selected Apps are, we may be able to give you some further instructions.

It is widely recommended that the ONLY startup manager that should be used is the following:

    Startup Control Panel
    http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml (home page)
    http://majorgeeks.com/Startup_CPL_d619.html
(Yes, it is also compatible with VISTA)

MSCONFIG should NOT be used as a startup manager: It may be used short-term as an aid to trouble-shooting.
    -------------------------

The general approach that I would use in a case such as yours ... is to enable EVERYTHING within the MSCONFIG interface, and then examine all the options within the newly installed Startup Control Panel.

In your particular case, do you foresee any problems with enabling everything that is now showing as disabled in MSCONFIG? Why was MSCONFIG used to disable anything in the first place?

Looking at each of the disabled processes in your screenshots, I see nothing to indicate that you will have any problems adopting the general approach that I have suggested above. Go ahead and do it.

    Any questions, ask away ....

Why are you wanting to switch from what,as you said, was working without problems?

Thank you thank you thank you
The reason I disabled this start up 1 year ago was because the laptop was taking to long to start so now is booting normally fast and have un-installed some programs too. And the reason I like to go back to normal start up is because I read it here, no other reason.

Good in principle, but the wrong method.

    So what is the verdict?
do I put it back to normal and use start up manager to disabled them according to AustrAlien?

Yes. You are getting good advice from AustrAlien.

Startup Control Panel is easy to use. You should definitely not be using MS Config to manage them.

This is a pretty thorough guide on why you shouldn't use MS Config (if you haven't seen it): http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=149804
