'Msdxm6.ocx' or one of it's dependencies are not correctly registered: a file is miss

    I am trying to play a recently downloaded game. Game is "Hope Springs Eternal"
    I keep getting the error message 'Msdxm6.ocx' or one of it's dependencies are not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.
    The game site I bought it from has not been able to help me but before I ask for a refund I would like to try and fix it.
    I use Firefox, my OS is Windows Vista home version 64 bit. I have played other games from this maker with no problem.:confused

    someone else appears to be having the same problem in which you have posted in that thread too, however I advise you to start a fresh thread of your own so things don't get confusing. Very best of luck
