I was going to upgrade to MSE 2.0 on my son's laptop but I was reading the license regarding validation and was a little concerned. The OS is legal but from the license, it seems that Microsoft also scans all software on your computer. Is this correct?

    Hi tgell

I would have to check from the horses mouth so to speak on this but reading that EULA I would hazard a guess that by Software they mean MSE as it needs a verified OS to work, opposed to sendind all the data about your other apps.

It could have been worded better but that's legal speak for you.
