MSE Causing Confusion With Action Center

    Have been using Microsoft Security Essentials on Win 7 Ultimate for a long time. Suddenly the Action Center flag pops up to turn it on but the symbol in my tray is green and all seems to be well. It is getting a tad irritating so turned off antivirus and spyware notification in Action Center as I know it is running. Left Windows Firewall and update notifications on. Any danger in this? I assume as long as MSE icon is green all is okay and there is a problem with Action Center. Ant thoughts please?
