Just got done wiping HD (originally had WinXP Home) and installing WinXP Pro, reinstalled all programs and files.
Had a website that I had setup under MSFP2000 and it was working fine but now (at least on this system) I am having issues with the 'hover buttons' not showing up. This also happens when I go online and check the site, so it seems like it is just happening on this particular system. I have checked the website on other systems and it is working fine.
Have run the various updates and "detect & repair" but still no go. To me, it looks like I have ever toggle - toggled and ever switch - switched but maybe I am still missing something.
    Any ideas? Suggestions?

I am thinking of upgrading to MSFrontPage2003 or even to DreamweaverMX. Not 100% about the latter as I am use to the former and do not want/need a big lag time for learning.
Any advise pro/con on either program would be greatly appreciated as well.

    Thanks
    Bgunn

I am fairly certain that it was installed... but I will double check that area.

Well, I checked and rechecked various settings. Everything that is suppose to be is... FP Extensions is installed; I updated MSOffice 2000 with the main (3) updates {the latter 2 deal with MSFP2K}; even have the MSIIS installed as that is something I want to do next -- adding ASP pages.
But still having issues with hover buttons and such.

    Any ideas?

DreamweaverMX rocks, the code is much cleaner than Mi¢ro$oft'$ Frontpage as well. :)

They both produce horrid , abismal code.

Did you try reinstalling FP extensions? You have to make sure that in your web directory the _vti folders exist..if they don't, your ext's won't work.
