I just purchased this MSI GX610 4 months ago. It was overheating badly at 100C and my laptop would just shut down. I opened up the case and there was barely any dust in there, however I still cleaned it with compressed air. I turned it back on and it has not solved the problem. The software I use to keep track of the temperature are Speedfan and HWMonitor. What should I do?:(:confused

Purchase a laptop cooler that uses an external power supply, so that it doesn't drain the laptops battery.

I wouldn't purchase anything else I'd return it,its still under warranty.

It shouldn't need a laptop cooler to work.

Don't tell them you've opened it up.
