Is it possible for a brand of RAM not to be compatable with a motherboard? I picked up a MSI Motherboard & a 1 Gig Crucial Rendition RAM module. I get nothing but a headache with the Crucial RAM. I tried a piece of Kingston and it works fine...

There are many different types of RAM. Did you check beforehand what type of RAM the crucial stick is and if the motherboard can support that type?

there are a variety of issues with ram and boards .Most board makers have a list of approved and tested ram for their boards. Just look at mobo manufacturer page
