msi usb drivers

a guy came into staples saying that his internet didnt work because he had windows xp pro and so he tried to install windows xp home now he doesnt have any drivers. i went to msi and downloaded all the drivers they offer (for the msi 945 neo) but the computer doesnt have any usb controller drivers. i thought they were embeded with windows xp but i guess not for this motherboard does anyone know where i can get these drivers.

 

You didn't mention which 945Neo it is (there's a 945G Neo and a 945P Neo and others) but it doesn't seem to matter, as they are all based on the Intel 945 Express chipset. Here's a link to the MSI drivers/chipset software:

Does he have ?question marks? in the device manager? Or is it just that the USB ports aren't working and the device manager is clean?
