    Hi again guys!

I found this MSIL:GenMalicious-ABV [Trj] when I tried to use some new (paid for, apparently legit -it's recommended on some really official sites) software. I've run the software (Andica) just once before, right after it installed. This is the first time I actually had to run it since it was installed a few days ago and pretty much automatically started.

The first time it seemed to run normally. This time the program started but a few seconds in I got an error message that it could not run properly because of a virus or potentially unwanted software. Avast then flashed on the screen urging a boot scan.

4 infected files were found after the boot scan. When I uploaded one of these files (the rest were all moved to the chest) to TotalVirus.com Avast and another antivirus both flagged it as malware. The other AV, (Nano?), said it was a keylogger.

Malwarebytes is still not running so I've attached logs from the other programs. Please help!

Your logs are clean. Looks like you are having false detection issues with Avast. You will have to upload the files from Andica that Avast is detecting/deleting to Avast and report the false positive to them. See this > https://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=2.0

    Hi chaslang

Thanks for getting back to me so quick. I thought it was false positives given the fact that all but one of the "infected" files were from that one program, but wasn't sure. I will upload it to Avast so they can fix this.

    You're welcome.

Since you are not having malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
