msm problem sp1

    I ahve a problem. I want to keep my system on sp1 for good reasons like for media player 9 and movie maker that can do alot more things than want sp2 prgrams allow you to do. The problem is that I got 5.0 which works fine but... Old version. com said 6.0 is last version comp[atibloe with sp1. When I install 6.0 version, I it stops me cold with a dialog box yes or no to upgrade to latest version. When I click no; it will not open messenger!! How do I get around this mess!!

    Hi

    Likely the version oldversion mentions works with sp1 may not do on all PC setups, so likely you will have to uninstall and stick with version 5 MSN,
