Msmessinger

    I do not like MS Messinger and would like to permanently delete it from my laptop. A couple of things enter my mind and I would like to know if removing this program will in any way affect any other programs or items on the computer. If the answer is no, then what is the safest way and most permanent way to delete this program.

    Microsoft Messenger, uninstall it.

    Cut and paste the following line into Start-->Run <enter>

    RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove
