MSN and signing on

Hi, I tried to sign into msn but coulden't find it so I found it in windows search I set up an account with a pass word thinking I would be able to use msn mail but it won't work, I did have an msn account but msn say it doesn't exist I can't get to the msn home page, what happens now is when I bootup I have to sign on using the pass word for msn where as before when I booted up I went strait to my desktop I have recently installed firefox as my default browser, could this be the the trouble?

I don't exactly follow what you want.

you do need java script enabled but you don't need to use IE (I run FF and the page displays properly).
If you use FF as your browser, change the bookmark to reflect the desktop and save the cookie. Otherwise, everytime you boot up FF, you will have to log in again.

Thanks plobr, I tried to open an msn account in windows I didn't really know what I was doing, I did a system restore got back to how it was before I messed it up, then went to msn web site and opend an account from their every thing ok now. thanks again.
