MSN Explorer Download

Yesterday downloaded what was listed as MSN Explorer 7.xxx from MG. DL'd to desktop to install later. When I checked the properties it is called Ver. 5.xxxxxx.
Is this correct ? Currently am using Ver. 6.xxxx as HD died, new one, reinstalled all OS, Progs., etc.,etc., from disks which came with computer 5+ years ago. Hence, the older ver. 6 of MSN Explorer. This is not IE. Unit uses MSN Explorer to dialup the MSN Home page. I know, "Explorer is kid-stuff" to some, but I like it, and do not wish to go beyond ver. 7 at this time. I am reluctant to install that DL as it appears to not be ver. 7 according to the properties.
Could someone please offer help and advice ? Thanks in advance.

The application version has nothing to do with the installer version.

 

Thanks, Adrynalyne... Guess that means that the ver. no. refers to the cab. file and not to the actual Explorer ver.....
