MSN Instant Messenger

I came home tonight to find my MSN Instant Messenger not working. Some efforts seem to suggest pop up blockers, though I don't have them turned on. Do I need to turn off pop up blockers especically for MSN? I don't have them on....how can I find out? Could it be something else?

Thoughts?

 

Am I being systemically shut out for some reason?

I don't use msn messenger either, but looked up something for a friend awhile back, its now called "Windows Live Messenger" i think, not sure if this is the program your talking about tho.

 

When you go to try to get info to repair msn @ Microsoft it redirects you to the "windows live" site. So you either have to change IM service or update I think.

If i recall friend had problem sharing files, could not do so on msn till he updated to the new software (windows live) hope this helps you. I'm really not familiar with msn messenger, maybe someone else has a better solution for you.
