is there any way to limit the amount of time my duaghter spends on MSN?? short of removing it from her computer and adding a whole bunch of passwords (which will mean living with a witch!!!) i would like to place a 1 hour max time...is it possible??thank you

Not within the software itself. The old fashioned way works well if applied consistently......parental control "Log off now please" :)

  3. Depending on the firewall you have you can get an option like that for IM, it will limit her chatting time to a minimal but if yours doesn't have that feature than use the Windows Parental Control "Log Off now" feature as suggested above.

    Hi

Sadly not a built in option in XP*, this is an easy option in Vista so if your Windows version is Vista then please let me know and I can aim you in the direction of the settings.

But his free software could be what may help http://www.crawlerparental.com/features.aspx

*for the ones who may site net user command, this I discounted as its dos and not easy to figure out unless you medium ~ advanced user.
