MSN Messenger... Please help!

I don't recall when this started, it's been happening as long as I can remember:

Each time I sign into MSN, everything is fine. Then, the next time I attempt to log in, I get the error: "There might be a problem with your internet connection. Make sure your computer is connected to the internet... Error code 81000306".

I have googled and found numerous fixes online, none of which work for me. The only fix that works for me is going to "C: Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft" and deleting the entire subfolder. I've been doing this EVERY time I want to use MSN. Sometimes it works, other times I have to reboot.

Sometime, most of the time, the above does not work and I still receive the error.

Every other software application works seamlessly, ie. Skype and others.

I keep my machine up to date with antivirus and other software, I don't think that this issue pertains to virus' or spam.

I have searched and tried every idea out there. I have uninstalled and reinstalled MSN.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, as this is getting ridiculous. I want to chat with my family, who are all across the country!
