How can i stop MSN Messenger from displaying my email address ?

Here is the situation, I have had MSN Messenger for quite some time, it never showed my email address, then (2) days ago, it started showing my email address when i was talking to someone, it shows it no matter who i am talking too.

I have the latest version of MSN Messenger, I have looked at all the personal options on MSN Messenger to make sure my email address is not in any blanks or spots, it IS NOT.

Can someone tell me / provide a solution to make MSN Messenger stop showing my email address when i talk to someone. Thanks

 

I may be wrong on this, but once you add a contact to Messenger in order to instant message that person, that contact will always be able to see your addy within their Messenger window, no matter if you hide it in your window.

if its in the contact window then there is nothing you can do to hide your email addy but if its in the msn messenger itself as in the display name go to options and look at the display name if its in there just change as normal.
