MSN Messenger..

Hey guys n gals
I have this problem with MSN Messenger where it signs me out nearly every 2 or 3 minutes.
And i always have Video Convos or am recieving or sending files and it cuts me off.

Any help appreciated

are you sure you have the most current version of MSN Messenger?

 

Im positive i got the latest

 

I had that problem when logging onto Messenger using the Trillian program. I think that MSN had an issue with chat clients like trillian using there services in such a way. Are you on a constant connection IE:Cable/DSL/T1? If so check your connection settings and your Firewall settings.

 

I stopped using Messenger because of its increasing instability. I found the last stable version for me was the version before 7.5 was released.

Give it a shot maybe?

 

I have had this problem also.

It only does it when my bandwith is stressed.

I'm sorry I ever "upgraded" from 7 to 7.5. Try 7 as Adrynalyne suggested.

 

Yea i am on a DSL connection and my windows firewall is down

 

7.5 (0322) is the latest build that resolved some logging in issues.. please check. If the msn messenger download site only has 0311 build, then download 322 from the following link

Ok so i downloaded that version and im STILL gettin that prob

do you have any firewalls or other hardware firewalls on your network that could affect this?
